2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data: • Identity data: Name, date of birth, gender, profile photos • Contact data: Email address, phone number • Location data: City, state, and GPS coordinates (only when permission is granted) • Profile data: Bio, interests, lifestyle preferences, personality questionnaire answers • Usage data: Login times, IP address, device information, interaction metadata • Communication data: Messages and calls between matched users • Payment data: Subscription records (card details are not stored by us — handled by our RBI-compliant payment gateway)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data strictly for the following purposes: • Matching you with compatible partners • Personalising your app experience • Verifying your identity and preventing fraud • Processing subscription payments • Safety monitoring and content moderation • Responding to legal and law enforcement requests We will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising without your explicit separate consent.

4. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with: • Other users (only profile data visible to matches) • Our service providers (cloud storage, payment processing, analytics) — bound by data processing agreements • Law enforcement agencies — only when legally required under the IT Act, 2000 or by court order We do not transfer your data outside India except to countries approved by MeitY.

6. Data Retention

• Active account data is retained while your account is active • User activity logs (login times, IP addresses) are retained for 180 days as required by IT Act Rule 3(1)(j) • Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days • Anonymised, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained indefinitely

7. Security

We implement the following security measures: • TLS encryption for all data in transit • Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest • Role-based access control for our team • Regular security audits In the event of a data breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India within the prescribed timeframe.

8. Minors

Wingwomn is strictly for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover a minor has created an account, it will be immediately deleted.

10. Child safety

Wingwomn is strictly for adults aged 18+. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Users can report or block any profile or message in-app, and our team reviews reports.
